ABOUT

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:
I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Administrative & Commercial Studies before completing George Brown College's International Fashion Management post-graduate program. My career began as a stylist and merchandise coordinator for international apparel company Jones Apparel Group. I later transitioned to the buying side of fashion while working with an international fashion accessories distributor located in Toronto, Canada.
In 2007, I founded Stylehog.ca where I worked for four years as Creative Director. I created daily content, managed a freelance writing staff, worked with advertisers on special packages and appeared as a style expert on national television shows in support of the site.
During this time, I was also the wardrobe stylist for five seasons of Cosmopolitan TV's Oh So Cosmo show, in addition to styling the hosts on various CMT, W Network and YTV television shows.
From 2011 to 2014, I was the Fashion & Beauty Editor at Hello! Canada magazine where I created weekly celebrity and service-driven content in both the lifestyle and news section of the magazine. I was the lead editor in charge of producing two fashion and beauty special issues for the brand. My stories have appeared in international versions of Hello.
Upon moving to Qatar in 2014, I took on the role of Editor at Large at Sur La Terre Arabia magazine, the Gulf's premium luxury fashion and lifestyle magazine where I played a lead role in the redesign and relaunch of the publication. In addition, I had the pleasure of interviewing top global and regional designers, styling fashion and beauty shoots and planning the bi-monthly editorial calendar.
As a freelance writer, my work has appeared in Elle Canada, Harper's Bazaar Arabia, Grazia Middle East, FASHION, Flare and The Toronto Star's The Kit. I have also created digital editorial content and email newsletters for Canada's prestige beauty destination, Shoppers Drug Mart's Beauty Boutique and Murale, plus Europe's members-only luxury e-commerce site, Best Secret.
As a stylist, I have worked with leading fashion retailers including Gap, Banana Republic and French Connection to host in-store shopping events and style seminars.
